Well, I’ve kinda figured myself out, and I’m back to writing on Hard Limits, part two of the Goode Pain series. It’s slow going, but I know what I’m doing, where I’m going. How did I do it? I just gave it a little time. Sometimes I need to sort out my thoughts. I’m so excited about this series that I got ahead of myself.
I was thinking about the next instalment and future instalments, as well as the spin-offs that I just got lost in it all! I was trying to plan too far ahead, when I should be focusing on this instalment. So, now I’m back on track…with a few slips here and there. Sometimes I can’t help but think of where Ava is going! It’s so exciting!
I was thinking of putting an excerpt up from Edgeplay, but it would be pretty riskay. It’s not a novel for the faint of heart! It’s quite naughty. Definitely more bite to it than the Smoke Chaser series. I also don’t want to ruin any of the good parts for you guys, before it’s published.
UPDATE: still no word from the agency or the publisher I queried. I’m giving it another week or two before I send out to other publishers and agencies. The publisher said on their site that they can take up to two months to respond, and it was the beginning of November when I queried. So, I expect within the week…hopefully.
I’m making a playlist for my writing adventures, shall I post a copy for others to enjoy? It gives a brief look into my process, as I need sexy songs to stir up the sexy scenes. Leave a comment below!
